Get Connected: Dallas!

Saturday, October 22 at South Oak Cliff High School

Get Connected: Dallas! will celebrate all the ways that “getting connected” brings opportunities to create the future we want for all of Dallas. Come and explore how to take advantage of internet-based services that make life easier today and envision what accessible technology will look like tomorrow. Whether getting connected to high-speed internet, learning how to see your doctor online, exploring future careers and skills, or discovering exciting learning tools for kids, our inaugural celebration will have something for the whole family.

From the Dallas Innovation Alliance, CARDBoard Project, and SVP Dallas, in addition to partners across the Dallas Community, join the movement to celebrate our connected future from 10am – 4pm at South Oak Cliff High School.

This cross-generational event will address challenges to getting and taking advantage of services in today’s digital world that impact education, job training and seeking, connection to benefits and services, healthcare, transportation and grocery shopping, leaving guests with a sense of community and engagement, confidence in their own digital skills, and an awareness of programs and services available to us today. Let’s get empowered by getting connected!
